Alright, SO, valentines day was a LONG day! first i had to get up and take all THREE girls to violin. kirk usually takes kayla, but, he couldn't on this day! he was gone all day long doing practice tests! (joy!) anyways, SO, then i came home, and made a cute breakfast pancake.. and, then i hurried and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the house as a nice vday present to kirk! (since i couldn't buy anything!) and, i made him his favorite meal, three cheese manicotti with meat sauce. and fluffy french bread! mmm good! anyways, So, he came home at like 6 ish, and we decided to have kapri's bday party that night too! because it just worked out better. (since we didn't have plans)
so, i had made a cake, (for vday and kapri's bday) and, i had made some cupcakes... that are NO sugar (made with applesauce...) and, with wheat flour.. (sound good!?) anyways, i usually do NOT let my kids eat SUGAR or anything like breads or anything like that till they are oh 2. or so... but, this is the third.. i am more relaxed (kinda)
So, yeah, we didn't get kapri ANY presents... sad but true. she doesn't really need anything... SO, i went to the garage (since kapri LOVES the wiggles..) and grabbed the old wiggle guys from kayla's first bday party(are we seeing how different it is for the third baby? soo sad)
anyways, and, that was that.
Since our USUAL party goers (nick and marianne) were out of comission (see previous posts!) then we decided to just do whatever bday, record it, and open presents from gparents and cousins! (thanks gparents and cousins!)
and call it good!
she was SOO FREAKING happy it was HILARIOUS! she knew something special was for her! (i kinda feel guilty! but whatever. she had a good time!)
So, she got to eat the cupcake.. because it was fine enough for her.. and, then she got to try some wheat pasta noodles. and LOVED THEM! ooh what a lucky day for her! (hahaha)
it was totally low key, and kinda lame. But, she seemed to be soo happy and had fun!

I love that baby girl, I can't believe she is 1! Time seriously goes by so fast, it makes me sad that our children grow up. Why can't they stay little forever? It looks like she had such a great birthday, sometimes those are the best having their party low key. I love that! She is such a cutie! Love the heart cake and what heart-shaped pancake, you are such a great mommy! They are so lucky to have you as their mom! love you.

Oh I have been so busy that I must have missed your last post go up!! Anyway, I love the new background and how adorable with little Kapri. You know, it is so true with the first kids to the third, fourth, fifth ect. hahahahaha!!! The only thing that matters is that they truly feel special that day!!
