Sushi anyone!?

Our good friends the castillos came over one night and showed us how to make sushi! kirk's NEW favorite thing to eat! There is a long story behind this.. SO, one night i had been SLAVING over the stove.. i ended up making a chicken cordon bleu with bell peppers and green beans and onions sautee'd in garlic and other yumminess. then with it i made some homemade french bread...and something else i can't remember if i made wild rice or whatever.
anyways, it took me FOREVER to make all of this stuff. Like i slaved for like over an hour! anyways, so, kirk comes home, and we all sit down for dinner. and RING RING. the phone rings. it is BILLY (our friend below) he is like, hey guys come on over to our house i just made homemade sushi!

Kirk was like, YEAH sure! well, ummm
He looks at me, and i have the EVIL EYE< like ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!???

and, so, he says, I will call you back!

He gets off the phone. and of course with his YUMMY plate of HOT steaming beautiful food infront of him, he says, OH man! sushi sounds so great!

I was So mad! i said! no freaking way!!! you can go, but, i am eating my FOOD I just spent over and hour making, so it would be HOT when you got home! NICE!

anyways, he called him back and kinda pouting said, we can't do it tonight.

SO, later on that week, billy and kirk planned this whole night of making sushi!
it turned out lovely. i took a COUPLE pics. this pic is NASTY looking! i had a better one, but I AM IN IT and i look like i am the cow that we weren't eating... holding a plate of sushi! beautifully made! i of course didn't have any raw fish! NASTY!!!
but, my california rolls were divine! mmm good!
yeah we ate our body weight in that crap! and had leftovers. it is MUCH cheaper and just as good to make your own!
it was a fun night! Sorry this is soo long!
