SWIM FUN!

We went to a friends birthday party the other day! we went to two actually this day,. and then later that night went to a luau! so, there IS a lot of pic. PLUS a WEIRD story! ha.

here is the story! a lot of people have asked. SO i am going to tell it..
SO, i was taking pics (as you can see above) and i was basically the only person out of the pool! anyways, SO, i was on the side of the diving board. taking pics. and EVERYONE else was on the OPPOSITE side of the pool splashing around PLAYING!
anyways, So, i hear my friend sarah scream "OH MY GOSH! LEAH IS DROWNING!! SOMEONE SOMEONE!"
so, i didn't think., i just CHUCKED my camera and JUMPED IN and grabbed her, and put her above my head.. and tried to TREAD water with my HIGH HEELS ON, jeans, beaded shirt, and my sweater cover up etc! it was interesting. and funny to see i guess. But, heck! she had dived off the diving board.. she is 3 ish! and, her floaties came off. and so all i saw was her UNDER WATER GASPING for air! so, of course i would JUMP IN! i am SURE IT looked soo weird me jumping in! but, whatever. she is fine! and safe. all that matters.
ANyways, my friend grabbed my camera and shot this LOVELY pic of me! OOH my! horrid!

I decided that since i was IN already. i MAY as well swim for a bit in my clothes! oooh goodness. my girls were soo happy! i DO go swimming with them all the time. i just don't get all Swim suited uP in PUBLIC!

K so i made this coconut cake and cupcakes.. it is OUT OF THIS WORLD! my TALENTED sister in law tami made up the recipe! it is seriously good! i was soo dumb, because it was melting in this HUMIDITY and 100 degree weather. SO i put it in the fridge. and then everyone was eating dessert, and i was like< CRAP! my dessert! Yeah so i brought it out later! ooh well it was a hit regardless! yum!
